Salary: £20,903 - £22,183 Pro-rata
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, professional salesperson within the Council’s Tourism team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales for Visit Exeter memberships to prospective members and providing exceptional customer service to current members to ensure renewals and retention rates are achieved.
The role involves supporting the Business Development and Brand Lead and Tourism Manager in identifying commercial opportunities and initiatives across the Tourism department to diversify and drive income.
The role involves liaising with the local business community, so the successful candidate will need exceptional communication skills.
The successful candidate will also need excellent organisational skills, and will be able to work confidently on their own, including conducting meetings with prospective customers on the type of membership or advertising options best suited to their needs.
