General Election 2019

There will be a general election on Thursday 12 December 2019.

Timetables and notices to be published as soon as possible.

If you are already registered to vote, you do not need to re-register.

If you are not registered to vote, you will need to register to vote by Tuesday 26 November to vote at the UK general election.

In England, Scotland and Wales you can register to vote at gov.uk/register-to-vote.

If you require a postal vote - please see our postal votes page. The deadline for registering for a postal vote is 5pm Tuesday 26 November.

This poll will be taken together with the by-election in the Topsham Ward of Exeter City Council on the same day.

Please note that residents who live in the Topsham and St. Loye’s areas of the city will vote in the East Devon Constituency which is administered by East Devon District Council. More information can be found on the East Devon election pages.
